About

Hi, I go by the alias Spudnik and am a cybersecurity enthusiast with over a decade of experience solving complex IT challenges.

My passion for technology started early—at just 10 years old building computers in my parents’ garage. I believed the best way to understand how computers work was to exploit hardware and software for fun. That curiosity led me to explore overclocking, application exploits, and a deep dive into everything cybersecurity.

Beyond cyber, I am an avid photographer, and a dedicated outdoor enthusiast. I love hiking and exploring various mountains. Whether I’m capturing moments behind the lens, or trekking through the backcountry, I find inspiration in both technology and the great outdoors.

Continuously learning and expanding my skill set, I combine a life-time of self-taught expertise with formal education. Whether coaching others, developing innovative solutions, or contributing to security initiatives, I’m always looking for ways to make an impact.

I hold a graduate degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. My active industry certificates include: EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and CompTIA Security+ | Network+ | A+.
